Service Description
Nurture the strength and beauty of your locs with regular, expert care. Proper maintenance is essential for healthy, vibrant dreadlocks, and at Riverbend, we provide professional, holistic crochet maintenance services to keep your hair and scalp looking and feeling their best. We are committed to the integrity of your hair, which is why we never use twisting, ripping, perms, interlocking, waxing, or other damaging methods. Our Seienstyle technique not only creates strong locs initially but also supports their ongoing health and maturation, often allowing for longer intervals between maintenance appointments (average of 6 months, tailored to your individual needs). During your maintenance appointment, we'll focus on tightening new growth, taming loose hairs, and ensuring the overall health and structure of your dreadlocks. You'll also continue to receive personalized guidance on proper at-home care, empowering you to maintain a confident and effective routine between visits. Maintenance services are provided at an hourly rate of $75. A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied to your final service total. Please note that the length of your maintenance appointment will vary depending on the number of dreadlocks you have, the time since your last service, and whether you are a returning guest to Riverbend. The average maintenance appointment is approximately 2.5 hours.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I value your business and strive to accommodate your needs while also respecting my time and commitment. Please review my cancellation and rescheduling policy below: Service Appointments (Dreadlock Creation, Maintenance, Extensions): * A deposit is required to secure all service appointments. This deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to your final service total. * I kindly request at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your service appointment. * Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book a future appointment. * No-shows for scheduled service appointments will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, and you may be required to pay a non-refundable fee equal to a portion of the missed service before being able to book future appointments. Rescheduling: * I understand that life happens. You may reschedule your service appointment one time without forfeiting your deposit, provided you give me at least 48 hours' notice. * Any subsequent rescheduling will be treated as a cancellation, and a new deposit will be required. Late Arrivals: * Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your appointment needing to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid inconveniencing other clients. In such cases, your deposit may be forfeited. Early Arrivals: * To ensure a calm and prepared environment for all clients, I kindly request that you do not arrive more than **5 minutes** prior to your scheduled appointment time. Arriving significantly early can disrupt the flow of the studio and may not guarantee immediate attention. Communication: * All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be communicated to me directly via email at hello@RiverbendDreadlocksandGemstones.com or text to 970-305-5908. By booking an appointment with Riverbend Dreadlocks & Gemstones, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.
